Mak Marie, originally from Hickory, NC, is a singer-songwriter who interprets life through honest, emotionally driven lyrics.  She began her musical journey at just 3 years old, recording hymns on a vintage cassette player in her grandparent’s kitchen. With encouragement from her grandfather and admiration for his own talent, Mak taught herself to play guitar and started turning her life experiences into songs. Inspired by artists like Elvis, Stevie Nicks, and Sheryl Crow, Mak began performing, bringing a free-spirited, heartfelt style to every stage. When she isn’t sharing her music with the world, Mak embraces a bohemian lifestyle on her farm, advocating peace, love, and a life rooted in freedom.
